About Venezuela Record
A chronological record of Venezuela's political news, republished from the original sources with full credit.
Venezuela Record is a chronological archive of political news about Venezuela, from January 2025 to today, in English and Spanish. We do not write the news: we republish it from the original sources, always with the original author, outlet, date and a link to the original story.
Why it exists
Repression, political prisoners, human rights, elections and the international response move fast and are easily forgotten. Venezuela Record keeps them in one place, in the order they happened, so anyone can follow what took place and go back to the original sources.
How it works
- Everything is ordered by the original publication date, never by the date we republish it.
- Stories from our authorized sources, Voluntad Popular and VenAmérica, are republished in full with their permission and faithfully translated into English. The Spanish edition shows the original text.
- From other outlets we only publish the headline, a short summary of our own and a link to the full story.
- Each story says who republished it (“Republished by”). That credit refers only to the republication, never to authorship.
